Who We Are.
The Aitkin County DFL is a unit of the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party (DFL). Our purpose is to promote DFL values and to support candidates that uphold the values and mission of the DFL. We are governed by a Central Committee. The officers and members of the Central Committee are listed below.
Our Community
Aitkin County is a rural county in Central Minnesota. We are home to over 300 lakes and rivers, including the Mississippi River, Big Sandy Lake and part of Mille Lacs Lake. Though we are the 9th biggest county by land area, our population of 16,000 residents is less than 1% of Minnesota. You can learn more about Aitkin County here.
